We spent a month as volunteers in a government school. Umesh Sharma played a key role in this moving experience. He found us this school, introduced us to the students and the teachers the first day and helped us to get understood during the last day, where we donated to our students some materials originated from a crowdfunding project. He was also available every day to answer our questions and help us with the teaching. Finally, he also advised us some nice places to see during our free time.

The Indian experience and tour was for me an unforgettable experience, that I really enjoyed a lot. This country is really special. The moment with the Indian families with a so warm welcome was unique. I travelled a lot for professional reasons, but this trip to India, thanks to cheerful people, and thanks to Umesh, always with us and allowing us to feel so comfortable, was something really great.

4 months of enjoyment!
Thanks to Chill Indya, I lived four months in India, made a lot of friends and had the chance to contribute in a local NGO. Every day was exciting and new, I learnt so much and I encourage everybody to undertake the same experience. I will never forget how we spent the whole day celebrating Holi with a family, it was such a colorful and wonderful day. And it makes people very joyful and thankful!

I was in Jaipur to film a documentary on the Festival of Colors ‘Holi’ and really made a friend with Umesh. I’m pleased to write this testimony as he has been a good and gracious host, helping to coordinate my shoot with local families celebrating the grand festival in Jaipur and even gone the extra mile to provide more events for the production. Without a doubt, he is the man to look for when I return to film in Rajasthan.
